Minimal Lift is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how it is used.

1. What We Collect

Free plan users

If you use Minimal Lift on the free plan, we collect nothing. All your workout data — charts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, and progress photos — is stored entirely on your device using local storage. It never leaves your phone.

Premium plan users

If you upgrade to Premium, we collect the following to provide cloud sync and backup:

• Email address (used for account creation and login only)
• Workout data (charts, exercises, sessions, sets) — synced to secure cloud storage
• Progress photos — uploaded to secure cloud storage
• Purchase receipt data — processed by Google Play and RevenueCat to verify your subscription

2. What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name
• We do not collect your location
• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs
• We do not track your behavior across other apps or websites
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not display ads

3. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used solely to provide the features of Minimal Lift:

• Storing and displaying your workout history
• Showing your progress charts and personal bests
• Backing up your data to the cloud (Premium only)
• Verifying your subscription status

We do not use your data for marketing, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

4. Third-Party Services

Minimal Lift uses the following third-party services for Premium features only:

• Firebase (Google) — used for account authentication and cloud data storage. Firebase's privacy policy is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• RevenueCat — used to manage and verify in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy
• Google Play Billing — used to process subscription payments. Payment details are handled entirely by Google and are never seen by us.

Free plan users do not interact with any of these services.

5. Data Storage and Security

Free plan data is stored locally on your device and is as secure as your device itself. We have no access to it.

Premium plan data is stored in Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to your account only — we cannot read your workout data or view your progress photos.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Free plan: Uninstalling the app deletes all local data permanently.
• Premium plan: You can request full account and data deletion by emailing us at the address below. We will delete your account and all associated cloud data within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Minimal Lift is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
